Dr. Christian Renaudin is TMTG’s CEO and founder. Currently, Christian supports the expansion of the firm internationally and oversees the practice development in the European and U.S. consulting offices.
Practice Specialty
With a triple background in medical technology, clinical training and marketing, Dr. Renaudin has a strong personal interest in product innovation management. To address client research needs in product development, Dr. Renaudin has developed innovative qualitative research methodologies such as the Black Box technology assessment process and focus group based mock trials to test product concepts involving several stakeholders. Through his leadership, the firm offers a strong qualitative marketing research platform to help clients evaluate unmet needs, judge the market acceptance of innovative concepts, and optimize product positioning. Dr. Renaudin has created and deployed a market segmentation process enabling clients to optimize product marketing.
Professional Background
Dr. Renaudin worked in veterinary, clinical and research settings for seven years, honing his skills in developing and executing applied research projects. His research work in cardiac imaging has been published in renowned international medical imaging journals. Christian has managed well over 100 consulting and marketing research projects conducting personally hundreds of interviews with physicians, researchers and inventors. He has also successfully managed several large-scale international research projects in five continents.
Education
Dr. Renaudin grew up in the French Alps, and has lived in the United States for 12 years. He earned a doctorate degree in veterinary medicine (Ecole Nationale Veterinaire de Lyon, France) and a doctorate degree of science in biomedical engineering (CNRS—Creatis, University of Lyon I). He received his executive M.B.A. degree in marketing and international business (IUA—San Francisco).

Dr. Renaudin is a past board member of the Sacramento Valley Forum, a business networking group of the Sacramento Region. Dr. Renaudin attends a dozen medical conferences around the world every year, and also attends healthcare investment meetings.
Mark Davis

Company Role
Mark Davis joined TMTG in 2003 as a Senior Consultant and became a Managing Partner of the firm in 2004. Currently, Mark is TMTG’s Chief Operating Officer and in this role he is utilizing his extensive corporate management experience to build robust internal systems to support the phenomenal growth that the company has enjoyed in recent years.

With a dual background in organizational psychology and marketing, Mr. Davis is vitally interested in the perceptual and behavioral components that drive market-based decisions and contribute to strong business-to-business relationships. In support of client research needs, Mark has spearheaded initiatives to integrate additional quantitative methodologies and resources into the practice. The firm utilizes choice modeling, perceptual and price-value mapping, and market simulation to create substantial additional value for clients. Also, he has created and deployed customer satisfaction programs for clients that are designed to build enduring customer loyalty.
Professional Background
Mr. Davis has played an active management role in a variety of healthcare businesses for over 20 years. During his career he has been involved with medical practice management software development, the design and deployment of telephone-based clinical nurse advice service for health plan members, and the implementation of a Web-based employee benefit management platform for corporate clients. In addition, he has also helped numerous firms to better manage their account management function in order to achieve additional business and to increase retention.

Mr. Davis earned a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis and an M.B.A. degree in Marketing from California State University, Sacramento.
Professional Activity
Mr. Davis is a past regional board member of the American Marketing Association. In addition to attending major clinical conferences, he regularly participates in workshops and conferences that promote and advance the use of state-of-the-art market research methodologies. Mr. Davis is also the corporate representative to the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO).
Dr. Craig V. King, Director of Quantitative Research
Dr. King has been involved with over 30 MedTech studies since joining TMTG. He has a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with an emphasis in measurement and statistics. He has extensive experience in marketing research for large national and international organizations. He has presented and published research in vastly different forums covering measurement, statistics, employee attitudes, Web data collection, and questionnaire testing techniques.

SCOTT DAVIS is the Principal and founder of Strategic Marketing Decisions, a consultancy that specializes in marketing strategy, pricing and product design. He is also a founding partner and Chief Scientist of Revionics, the provider of a data-based retail pricing optimization system. Before ounding SMD he served on the marketing faculties of the Olin School of Business at Washington University in Saint Louis and the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Davis. He has also taught MBA pricing classes at the Haas School of Management at the University of California, Berkeley and at University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
Dr. Davis has written a number of scholarly articles on topics including: pricing in dynamic competitive markets, signals of product quality, money-back guarantees, and price promotions. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Retailing, and the Harvard Business Review, among others. He has received awards for both his teaching and research.
He has consulted internationally on pricing and marketing issues in a variety of industries including medical equipment, telecommunications, and packaged goods. His clients have ranged in size from new business start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
Dr. Davis is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with Bachelors of Arts degrees in Economics, Environmental Studies, and Geography where he also obtained a Masters degree in Geography. He earned his PHD in Economics with a Marketing Minor from Stanford University.

Dr. Olivier Dourthe has accomplished his Radiologist Board as a Paris Hospitals resident. Since 1993, through his clinical practice and a close collaboration with several research labs on computer science, he has built up innovative industrial projects of software and new equipment in fields like radiotherapy, MR and CT image processing, surgical and procedural navigation.

RICHARD S. GROME started the Heritage Group after 30 years in sales, marketing and financial services management in the medical equipment industry. The Heritage Group is a consulting firm specializing in large capital equipment decisions for hospitals and physicians. Client projects range from project feasibility studies to financing alternatives and project management. The major areas of consultation are Radiosurgery (Gamma Knife®), Magneto Encephalography (MEG), Radiation Oncology (Linac), Diagnostic Radiology, and Kidney and Orthopedic Lithotripsy.
During his 15 year tenure with Elekta, Richard S. Grome held several senior executive positions including President Elekta Instruments Inc, President Gamma Knife Ventures, Chief Operating Officer, GK Financing, LLC, VP National Accounts & Financial Services. Elekta, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Elekta AB, manufacturer of the Leksell Gamma Knife, stereotactic neurosurgical instruments and radiation oncology equipment. In 1993 Mr. Grome created Gamma Knife Ventures, Inc. and launched the innovative "Third Party Provider" concept so hospitals could team up with outside investors to acquire a Gamma Knife on a shared risk basis. Today, 40% of all Gamma Knifes in the US are sold on a shared risk basis. These capital intensive projects have led to a rich experience in project analysis and development. "Hospital administrators today are bombarded with high dollar capital equipment and project needs while having fewer and fewer dollars to spend. Changing technology combined with less hospital revenue and fewer personnel create a need for a specialist consulting firm to help the hospital administrator efficiently analyze and develop high ticket projects in a timely manner."
Richard S. Grome is a graduate of Thomas More College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (Premed) and a Masters of Science in Radiation Science from the University of Cincinnati. He has also taken related courses at Wharton, Kennesaw State University and California Lutheran University.

Dr. Georges Halpern brings to MarkeTech Group 30 years of academic and clinical expertise in pharmaceuticals with two patents and numerous original publications in outstanding peer reviewed journals. He is an adjunct professor of medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California Davis, and an international consultant specializing in Immunology and Allergology. His portfolio of clients range from small biotech start-ups to Top 10 pharmaceutical firms. Dr. Halpern assists drug companies with their drug discovery process and marketing strategies.

Dr. Eric Postaire is the Medical Director in charge of Pharmacology, Nutrition & Food safety within PasteurMed, a position he has held from the start of the company in September 2000.
Receiving most of his formal education in France, Dr. Postaire attended the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Paris. Accordingly, he completed a residency at Paris Hospitals and graduated in 1980. In 1981, Dr. Postaire was offered the position of Hospital Pharmacist and was awarded a PhD in Pharmacochemistry. Dr. Postaire then pursued two areas: pharmacokinetics as a hospital pharmacist, and research with a DSc in pharmacochemistry in 1986.
He then engaged in research in clinical pharmacy at the Paris Central Pharmacy as Deputy Scientific Director and Adjunct Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy. Dr. Postaire focused on the methodology of clinical research and specific medical areas, for example, hemodialysis, medical device, enteral and parenteral nutrition. His personal basic research was developed in immunology and oxidative stress related conditions. Dr. Postaire's research work connected him to the industry that he joined in 1995. In 1997, he joined the International Research Center (fresh dairy products) of the Danone Group as a manager of Health & Nutrition. He then was asked to manage Health & Nutrition for the whole Danone Group, including biscuit and mineral water. He was a leader in developing functional food markets through understanding and impeccable research. Dr. Postaire is also a writer and has published more than 120 scientific articles. Moreover, he has published a book entitled The 21stCentury Epidemics.
Dr. Postaire has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards: Vice-President of the World Academy of Biomedical Technology (UNESCO) in 1999, Selected in the Barons 500 Who's Who in 1999, Pharmaceutical Expert for the French Agency of the Medicament in 1994, Member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science since 1994, Member of the New York Academy of Science since 1992, Awarded the Annual Research in Hospital Pharmacy Award in 1987, Awarded the National Academy of Pharmacy Annual Award in 1985 and Analytical Chemistry Expert since 1984.

Ms. Barbara Reiss is the principal and founder of Reiss and Associates, Inc., a business advisory firm that specializes in focusing on the healthcare provider segment. Robert Enzerink, Senior Consultant
Mr. Enzerink has been a product developer and business executive in medical technology for over twenty years, with emphasis in medical devices. He specializes in direct engagement with customers and partners for strategic marketing, product planning, business development, and financial modeling for profitability analysis. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo; an MBA in marketing and finance from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management; and is an inventor on over 30 medical technology patents.
Olivier Cotten, Senior Consultant
Mr. Cotten holds a MBA in marketing and works out of the French office. Before joining TMTG Cotten was a marketing director at a pharmaceutical company in France. He has been involved with the medical industry for 7 years. Cotten has involved with over 10 projects in medical imaging.
Romain Labas, PhD, Consultant
Dr. Labas holds an engineering degree in chemistry from French “Grandes Ecoles” and a PhD in medical imaging. He spent five years in R&D for the pharmaceutical and the biotechnological industry. More specifically, he worked on the development of radio-tracers for PET imaging and nanocarriers for gene therapy. He brings to TMTG his scientific knowledge of the biomedical industry.
Julien Regnard, Senior Consultant
Mr. Regnard holds a MBA in marketing. His education was completed across countries providing him with 4 languages and deep understanding of cross cultural issues. Prior to joining TMTG, His experience includes year collaboration with a Middle East contracting company in Kuwait and pan-European segmentation project over 5 countries. Regnard has involved with 5 large projects in medical imaging.
